🛠️ Add & Manage Rentals

🚪 Getting Started
- Navigate to the Rentals tab in the left sidebar.
- Click “Add Rental” to create a new listing, or open an existing one to edit.
📝 Rental Details
- Title: Add a clear equipment name.
- Equipment Info Fields: Fill in the standard fields provided.
- Description: Use formatting tools to add bullets, bold, or headings for key info.
🖼️ Upload Images
- Main Rental Image: Appears as the primary thumbnail on the site. Upload from your computer or the Media Library.
- Gallery Images: Add supporting images. These show as thumbnails on the equipment detail page.
🏷️ Assign Categories
- Use the Categories panel on the right.
- Add new categories to organize your rentals—these drive customer-facing filters.
💵 Add Rates & Special Pricing
- Fill in standard rental rate fields (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
- Use the Special Rates field for weekend or seasonal pricing.
📍 Location & Delivery
- Check the box for “Available at All Locations” — or select just one.
- ⚠️ Only one location per listing.
- Have multiple? Create a separate listing for each.
- Enable Delivery Available if applicable.
⬆️ Set Priority
- Use the Priority field to determine listing order.
- Higher numbers show higher on the page.
- Example: Give spotlight items a priority of 10 vs. others at 1.
✅ Publish Your Rental
- Click Publish or Update in the upper-right corner.
- Want to temporarily hide a listing?
- Use Quick Edit → change status to Draft → Update.
- To republish, switch back to Published and update again.
👀 What It Looks Like Live
- Listings appear as rental cards on your Rentals page.
- Clicking into a listing shows:
- Your custom description
- Rental rate block
- Location and delivery info
- Additional images
- Sidebar filters populate from the categories, manufacturers, and models you assign.
