Our Rental Management tools are an easy way to add, manage, and edit your Rentals. Let's take a look at how to edit your Rental Reservations on your site!
How to Accept a Reservation
Option One
- To accept a rental reservation, you will need to open the email that your site sends to you when a customer fills out a Rental form and select Accept.
Option Two
- Log into your Sitefinity dashboard.
- Navigate to the Rentals tab and select the Reservation Editor from the drop down.
- Find the reservation you want to confirm and click Edit.
- Scroll to the very bottom of the page and select Send Confirmation to the Customer. This will send the customer an email notifying them that their reservation is confirmed along with all of their information for the rental.
How To Edit a Reservation

- Log into your Sitefinity dashboard.
- Navigate to the Rentals tab and select the Reservation Editor from the drop down.
- Find the reservation you want to edit and click Edit.
- On the backend of the Rental Reservation Editor you can change details of the Reservation such as the contact information of the renter, the date and time of pickup and dropoff, machine location, descriptions of applicable fees, any disclaimers, and add a message to the renter from your Dealership.
- You cannot edit the automatic Pricing Information. If you wish to manually calculate the Pricing Information, you can select the "Manual" button underneath Pricing Information and then add in your pricing information there.
- Once you have made all of the necessary changes to the Reservation select Save Changes.
- You can also select Send Confirmation To Customer after you have saved the changes to send an email with the updated Reservation information to your rental customer. It is best practice to alert your customer to any changes made to their reservation.
